Caption breaks that actually stick
Instagram often removes blank lines. Paste your text, and we add spacing that survives when you post — with a live preview.
Tip: paste directly into the caption field, not into a comment.
Why captions lose their spacing
Blank lines get stripped
Instagram trims empty lines, so your nicely formatted caption collapses into one block.
Invisible characters
This tool places a tiny invisible character on blank lines so the spacing holds.
Paste, don't retype
Copy the result and paste it straight into your caption to keep the breaks.
The invisible-character trick, explained
Instagram strips empty lines when you post — your carefully spaced caption collapses into one dense block. The fix is almost funny: this tool places an invisible Unicode character on each blank line. Instagram sees a "non-empty" line and keeps it, your readers see clean white space. No app, no shortcut, no fighting with the caption field.
Why spacing changes how captions perform
A wall of text gets skipped; the same words with breathing room get read. Line breaks let you isolate the hook on its own line, list points one per line, and set the call-to-action apart at the end where the eye lands last. For longer storytelling captions, paragraph breaks are the difference between "…more" being tapped and being ignored.
Where else this works
- Instagram bios — stack your bio into clean lines instead of one run-on sentence.
- TikTok captions and bios — same stripping behavior, same fix.
- Facebook & LinkedIn — usually respect breaks natively, but the output pastes fine there too.
- Comments — works for multi-line comments where the app allows them.
Getting a clean result every time
Write your caption in the box exactly how you want it to look — press Enter twice wherever you want an empty line. Tap the button, copy, and paste straight into the caption field before posting. Avoid retyping or "sharing via" other apps in between, since some editors strip the invisible characters. If you edit the caption inside Instagram afterwards, re-paste from the tool rather than fixing spacing by hand.
