A topical authority map is a structured plan of every topic a site must cover to be treated as an authority on a subject. It organises a niche into pillar hubs, sub-pillars beneath each pillar and cluster articles beneath each sub-pillar, then assigns every topic a keyword, search intent, content angle and internal-linking role — so coverage is deliberate and complete instead of random.
